Stabilized Flatfieds, or TFLATs for short, are currently under developement
as a means to check on the stability and performance of individual
components of the system. However variability todate has been entirely due
to variability of the stabilized source rather than the instrument itself.
Therefore these plots should not be relied on at this time to be providing
useful information in general, at least not in the sense in which they are
intended.
The following QC parameters are currently taken directly from the headers in the sense that they propagate through from the RAW files unchanged by the pipeline.
Eventually the pipeline should calculate these quantities.
QC1 parameters
- mean value across master frame (QC1 database table uves_flat, column mean_master, product keyword PRO.DATAAVG)
Description: Mean of the pixel values in the frame. All pixels are
taken into account.
