All organisations within the European Community are obliged to separate waste.

Amongst others, ESO separates the following waste:

All waste disposal services at ESO are organized by General Services. Please contact A. Dinkel (ext. 6867) if you have anything to dispose.

In case of hazardous material please use the Hazardous Material Disposal Form .

Consult the European Waste Catalogue if you need help in classifying certain waste, e.g. concerning its being hazardous or toxic.
