| The ESO Imaging Survey team has
carried out additional observations of
patches C and D with the
Wide-Field-Imager
mounted at the MPI/ESO
2.2m telescope. This page provides links to currently available quick
look data products. Green fields mark already released data products, red
fields mark data products which will be released soon. Yellow fields mark
data products which are temporarily not available. Please read the copyright
notice. Details about the observations, data reduction and products will be
presented in forthcoming papers.
NOTE 1: The data volume is enormous!
One raw WFI frame is 140 MB. A single reduced frame is 280 MB, a dedithered
image is about 500 MB. We have acquired about 2000 frames with the
WFI resulting in 26 dedithered images per patch per band for the EIS-wide
patches C and D. Distributing imaging data of this volume is a non-trivial
exercise and only few media are feasible. FTP transfer is not an option,
CD-ROM are able to hold just two reduced frames, DVD-ROMs about 13. The
only realistic media that we can offer for bulk requests are DLT tapes
written with DLT-7000 drives.
NOTE2: For a period of one year
the distribution of all imaging
data is restricted to persons affiliated to institutes of ESO member
states.
