SOFTWARE TOOLS
The following is a list of software tools that were developed as part of the DRM. Please note, however, that these are not official ESO products. These tools are provided in the hope that they will be useful for anyone interested in E-ELT performance simulations, but we do not provide any warranty whatsoever.
- eltpsffit
For fitting PSFs with combinations of analytical functions (Airy, Gaussian, Lorentzian, Moffat, ...). - E-ELT simulator
For simulating images and datacubes. This tool was developed and is offered by M. Puech at the Observatoire Paris Meudon. It was developed within the framework of the EAGLE phase A study. - Mid-IR sensitivity
IDL code to calculate the sensitivity of a ground-based mid-infrared instrument. This tool was developed and is offered by S. Kendrew at the Sterrewacht Leiden. It was developed within the framework of the METIS phase A study. - Stellar
population code
Three pieces of code to generate stellar populations and star catalogues. Includes the BaSTI isochrones.
