ESO Workshop on "THE ROLE OF DUST IN THE FORMATION OF STARS" INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS -------------------------- While this applies only strictly to the final version of the contributions to the proceedings you could simplify our life if you would already stick to these instructions when submitting your abstracts IN final version for the abstracts booklet. We intend to use the SPRINGER software already for making the abstract booklet. ESO has changed the form of publication of its Workshop and Conference proceedings. Future proceedings will be published by Springer in a new series with format similar to 'Lecture Notes in Physics'. Springer have TEX macros to produce papers in the required format. To obtain the TEX macro package, use anonymous ftp to trick.ntp.springer.de (192.129.24.12) and login as anonymous and change directory to /pub/TEX/plain/lecproc Get the following files: lecproc.cmm lecproc.doc lecproc1.dem lecproc2.dem read.me Please use these macros to format your contribution. In particular, running TEX on the file lecproc.doc will produce detailed instructions for preparing your document. The submission should be in paper form with all figures and tables etc. mounted. Colour figures will exceptionally be accepted only if well justified. The page limits are: Invited reviews 10 pages Contributed talks and posters 5 pages Please try to observe these limits. It is anticipated that some editorial overview will be excercised and authors may be requested to make changes to their papers. The paper copies of the manuscripts should be send to: H.U. K"aufl ESO STARDUST Karl-Schwarzschild-Str. 2 D-85748 Garching bei Munich Germany or and the TEX-files e-mailed to stardust@eso.org. ==================================================================== The ABSOLUTE DEADLINE for receipt of manuscripts is 15 October 1995. ==================================================================== Please contact the organizers via stardust@eso.org in the event of any questions or difficulties. In cases of urgent matters you can off course also use our personal accounts ( cstoffer@eso.org or hukaufl@eso.org ). ----------------------------------------------- VERSION JAN. 12, 1995
