Title:The interstellar magnetized gas response to the dynamic action of the galactic bar

Abstract:
Via numerical simulations with the ZEUS code, we studied the magnetized gas response to the dynamic 
action of the Galactic Bar. We found hydraulic-like jumps, turbulence, the signatures of magnetic 
reconnection and strong vorticity for different galactic regions. A realistic Galactic model was employed.
