Title:"Next Generation Isochrones with MESA" Abstract: We present new preliminary isochrones from MESA (Modules for Experiments in Stellar Astrophysics) stellar evolution calculations and examine how the uncertainties in stellar evolution manifest themselves in stellar population synthesis (SPS) models. Currently we are developing a new generation of SPS models using these isochrones in order to jointly constrain star formation histories in galaxies and uncertain stellar evolutionary phases. MESA, an open-source stellar evolution code that includes the latest stellar physics, has a highly modular infrastructure that makes it easy to isolate and investigate the effects of each input ingredient, including rotation, mass-loss, and convection. Preliminary results with these new isochrones will be presented.
