New insights in high-mass star mass-loss resulting in the B[e] phenomenon We present new findings on milli and micro-arcsecond scales of the ongoing mass-loss in the supergiant B[e] star HD327083. The results show that the material responsible for the [e] phenomenon is located in a Keplerian circum-binary disc. We conclude from this that binary properties play an important role in the appearance of the [e] phenomenon and not just the mass-loss of the primary object.
