MEASURING THE MASS LOSS OF EVOLVED STARS IN THE GALACTIC PLANE: A HERSCHEL INVESTIGATION OF MIPSGAL 24 MICRONS COMPACT BUBBLES Abstract: I will present broadband Herschel observations of the Spitzer/MIPSGAL circumstellar envelopes detected at 24 microns and how these data can be used to constrained the mass and mass loss in those newly discovered evolved stars.
