Kind regards, Dimitri Gadotti Ruben Sanchez-Janssen (On behalf of the LOC) === REGISTRATION and COCKTAIL === Registration and a cocktail reception will take place in the grounds of the ESO office in Vitacura, not far from Hotel Director, on Sunday 17 November from 16:00 till 20:00. We hope to see many of you there, for a friendly start of the workshop. Registration will also be possible on Monday morning. === CONFERENCE === The workshop will start on Monday 18 November at 09:00am sharp. The conference will be held at our main conference room that has a capacity for 120 people. Apart from this, the library will also be equipped with the necessary hardware and furniture to accommodate around 20 participants in a comfortable way who can follow the sessions live through streaming. === REGISTRATION FEE === The registration fee is 300 Euro (100 Euro for students). For those who did not pay yet by credit card or bank transfer, the exact amount must be paid in cash upon registration at the rate of that day (CLP, USD and EUR are accepted). The registration fee includes the welcome cocktail, the conference dinner and all coffee breaks. === INFORMATION FOR SPEAKERS ==== A PC (Windows [Powerpoint]) and a Mac (Powerpoint and Keynote) will be available for the presentations. Using PDF files is of course also possible. In order to ensure smooth transitions, avoid last-minute issues, and collect all presentations, we will transfer all talks to those computers before the beginning of each session. We'd like to ask the morning speakers to hand in their presentations the previous evening, or transfer them as soon as they arrive to the conference room. Please allow for some time to avoid delays. Keynote Talks (KT): 25 min + 5 min discussion Invited talks (IT): 20 min + 5 min discussion Contributed talks (CT): 15 min + 5 min discussion Please respect the 5 min discussion slot. === INFORMATION FOR POSTERS === Each poster author will be provided with one side of a free-standing board. The posters are limited to a standard A0 (841 x 1189 mm; 33.1 x 46.8 inch, portrait orientation) size or smaller. As we plan to publish your poster on our conference web site, we kindly request you to email the electronic version to morph2013@eso.org Please note that we will not print your poster, so bring it along with you. Thanks! === PROCEEDINGS === No formal proceedings will be published. Instead, we plan to publish your presentation material through our conference web site during the workshop with your consent. === TRANSPORT FROM AIRPORT === The easiest way to reach Hotel Director from the airport is to use a taxi or van service. Please make sure to use only authorized services. We encourage you to use Transvip. The Transvip office is located in the central hall, just after going through customs. Please mention that you are coming for the ESO conference and you will be entitled to the special price of CLP $15.700 (around EUR 23 or USD 32) if your hotel is in the Vitacura, Providencia or Las Condes districts. This is valid for 3 people, so do not hesitate to share with other participants.
