Title:Evidence for disk precession in LkHA 208 Abstract: LkHA 208 is a Herbig Ae star featuring a close to edge-on circumstellar disk which is casting a shadow. It is surrounded by a bipolar reflection nebula. The object does not belong to the best-studied members of its class. It was found to be a 0.1" binary using speckle interferometry. Due to the lack of interferometric measurements the disk is poorly characterized. The present contribution provides revised stellar quantities and disk parameters, obtained by radiative-transfer modeling of a well-sampled SED. By comparing POSS I and II images striking changes of the shadow morphology were found which point to disk precession, possibly induced by the secondary.
