Title: High-resolution imaging of a uniquely bright sample of SMGs Abstract: Via the uniquely wide extragalactic imaging survey, Herschel-ATLAS, we have uncovered a population of ultra-bright submm galaxies (SMGs) whose redshifts have been determined via millimetric CO emission lines. Their extreme brightness is due to gravitational amplification by foreground galaxies and means we can study the properties of these galaxies in exquisite detail. In this contribution we present the spatially-resolved dynamical, structural and excitation properties in 9 of those intensely star-forming galaxies at resolutions comparable to those of their individual giant molecular clouds. We also present the best lensing models in those galaxies, that allows to reconstruct their un-lensed CO images and velocity maps. A comparison with lens models based on dust and stellar emission is also included.
