Oral title: Variability in Obscured AGN

Oral abstract: Flux variability is a hallmark of AGN, and it is most violent at the highest energies. In this talk I will review our 
basic knowledge of X-ray variability in unobscured AGN and how it can help us study their heavily obscured counterparts, 
especially in the hard X-ray range.
