Oral title: Opportunities for AGN Science with JWST Oral abstract: The James Webb Space Telescope, to launch in 2019, will offer new and unique capabilities to study active galactic nuclei (AGN). Instrumentation provides access to the full near- through mid-infrared wavelength regime, with imaging, spectroscopy, integral field units, and coronagraphy. The Director's Discretionary - Early Release Science program will provide open access to some of the earliest observations, including a number of AGN. I will provide updates on the mission status and capabilities for scientists that are being developed.
