Oral title: The AGN dichotomy as seen from the outflow perspective Oral abstract: Although AGN are divided in many “flavours”, the Unified Model explains these observational properties with a line-of-sight-dependent scenario, in which a dusty torus makes the emission anisotropic. However there is growing observational evidence that type 1 and type 2 AGN are actually characterized by intrinsically different physical properties. Here we present the incidence and properties of ionized outflows in the BASS sample, unveiled by the faint wings of the [OIII] emission lines. We test how the outflow kinematics are related with different AGN power tracers.
