Garching bei München, November 18-20, 1996
Instructions for Authors
ESO now publishes its Workshop and Conference proceedings in a
Springer series, with format similar to that of the "Lecture Notes in Physics".
Springer have LATEX macros to produce papers in the required format.
To obtain the LATEX macro package:
- use anonymous ftp to ftp.hq.eso.org (184.108.40.206)
- login in as anonymous and change to directory
- get the following files:
Please use these macros to format your contribution. Please, DO NOT include
your own Latex command definitions, and DO NOT change the macros.
In particular, running
LATEX on the file lamuphys.doc will produce detailed instructions for
preparing your document.
A sample proceedings contribution can be found in lamuphys.dem
The submission should be in paper form with all figures, tables,
etc. mounted and, IN ADDITION, as e-mail.
Figures may be incorporated
into the Latex file using packages such as psfig, epsf, and epsfig. In
this case, please e-mail the figures as separate Postscript files.
Unfortunately, due to the high cost of color plates (about 1,000
DM/page) we will accept them only at the expense of the author.
The page limits are:
Please observe these limits. It is anticipated that some editorial overview
will be exercised and authors may be requested to make changes to their papers.
