General Description

The sync module is made to distribute the main signals like system clock, /Reset, and convert pulses, but also status bus control signals.
On that way the IRACE system can be expanded to much more channels than one big rack can be contained.
Four dsub26p output connectors are digital isolated from the rest of the board to avoid any ground loops between systems.
Also to achieve long distance availability between the systems the transmitter and receiver are using differential driver.
