Abstract: A spectroscopic survey with FLAMES of 137 red giant stars in the globular cluster NGC 2808 has revealed the likely presence of mass loss in a large number of stars among the brightest sample. Chemical inhomogeneities all along the 3-mag monitored interval suggest primordial pollution from a previous generation of intermediate mass stars.
