Description

The Pre-FLAMES Survey (PFS) is a BVI survey of 160 selected stellar fields to provide imaging data for use in connection with the FLAMES fiber-system feeding GIRAFFE and UVES @ KUEYEN. The selected fields include globular and open clusters, Baade window, galactic bulge and halo, the Magellanic Clouds and the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy. Observations of the Pre-FLAMES Survey are in progress.
