Different dithering patterns have been considered,  in preparation for the deep observations, to minimize the imprint of the CCD mosaic gaps.
The figures below show  the sampling obtained for the Deep 2-c observations.

Left panel: coverage of each of the areas being surveyed .  The dots indicate the center position of the WFI frame.  The crosses in the inset shows the corresponding dithering pattern in a series of  5 exposures.

Right panel:  number of observations for each pixel when 65 WFI frames are acquired  using the dithering pattern
 illustrated in the  left   panel.  Pixels sampled  by the smallest  number of frames (45)  are shown in green, while those samples by the highest number of frames  (65) are shown in pink.
