High Speed Photometer

During PODPS pipeline calibration, GEIS format data sets consisting of a a Standard Header Packet, a Unique Data log, and from one to four Science Data files and their corresponding Data Quality files are created for the High Speed Photometer (HSP). Each data file comprises two parts-an ASCII header file and a binary data file. All files for a particular observation have the same root file name; the type of data in each file is indicated by its extension (Table 1 ). These data sets are used as input to the standard calibration program, CALHSP, which produces a new set of calibrated data files (Table 2). The different types of data files are described in detail below.
