This was originally intended for the intensity transfer function (photometric nonlinearity) correction. Since this correction depends on the values of neighboring pixels, it cannot be applied in this form. However, it can be used for a format-dependent correction similar to a flat field. The name of the ITF file must be provided in the keyword ITFHFILE.
