Intermediate Calibrated Output Files

There are five sets of intermediate calibrated output that are dumped by CALFOS. These intermediate sets are count rate, flat-fielded object spectra, flat-fielded sky spectra, background spectra, and flat-fielded object spectra with smoothed-sky spectra subtracted. Count Rate files are generally corrected for undersampling caused by disabled channels, overscanning, and noise rejection; they are identified by the extensions ``.C4H'' and ``.C4D''. The Flat-fielded Object Spectra files are identified by the extensions ``.C5H'' and ``.C5D''. The Flat-fielded Sky Spectra file is included only if obtained by the observation; it is identified by the extension ``.C6H'' and ``.C6D''. The background spectra are identified by the extension ``.C7H'' and ``.C7D''. The smoothed sky spectra are subtracted from the flat-fielded object spectra prior to flux conversion if the sky is observed; this file is identified by the extensions ``.C8H'' and ``.C8D''.
