STIS Cycle-7 Calibration Plan
This www page provides an overview of the STIS Cycle-7 calibration
plan. The table below lists the titles of the different calibration
programs, sorted by topic.
If you follow the link for each highlighted title, you
will find a brief description of the goals and desired accuracy of each
program. If you follow the link provided by the proposal
ID you will find the phase-2 proposal, which has the full
specification of the exposures. As some of the proposals are still
under development, some of the phase-1 and phase-2 links will not yet
work. The link in the schedule column provides the
current status of each observing visit of that proposal. The
hardcoded schedule visible in that column is updated approximately
quarterly.
Many crucial tests and calibrations were carried out in SMOV.
The details of those programs are listed on a separate web page.
Further descriptions of some of the calibration strategy can be found
in instrument science reports that are posted on the
STIS ISR web page.
