The IFW HL Core Package provides some common utilities of general interest to the other ICW components and application development in general.It provides the following two main parts:

• utils: Various C++ utilities for building applications.
• stoo: Start-up utilities to help managing the application life-cycle.
• pyutils: Various Python utilities most significantly a SCXML/OPC UA profile driven server utilitiy.
• dit: Data Interface Tools, providing support for Data Interface Dictionaries and FITS file handling utilities.
