Natural pool
Natural pool
Natural rock pool, morning 17/2/2003. A short taxi drive to the west of the island are several natural rock pools where hundreds of colourful tropical fishes swim around unconcerned by the human swimmers. As you swim, you can literally touch the fishes around you. There are blue fishes, yellow-tailed fishes, fishes with stripes-- all kinds of fishes. It is like swimming in an aquarium. I felt like I was in a wildlife documentary. It must be one of the most memorable experience in my life. It costed 40 US cents for the entrance fee and it is the best 40 cents I have ever spent. It includes a piece of bread which you can feed the fish with, but it is better not to swim with the bread since the fishes will try to bit your fingers off! Thomas Hilker can be seeing entering the water.
