CERFACS is located in Haute-Garonne,
famous for its delicious goose liver pate, Foie Gras.


To achieve the special delicious taste of the liver, the goose is
being force-fed with corn for a couple of weeks. A side effect of
this is that the liver grows to a pathologically large size, that
eventually causes the goose to die.
