        December 1995-June 1996:

          Teaching assistant to the course of astronomy lab. II.
          This activity involved: assistance to the students during laboratory experiments, preparation of the laboratory equipment, control and check of the software programs used and organization of the reading material.

      Research experience

        Observational experience:

          Night time service observations with FLAMES & UVES at the VLT (Cerro Paranal - Chile).

          Day time calibration and data checks of all VLT instruments (Cerro Paranal - Chile).

          Optical photometry observaitons with the Prime Focus and Aux Port Cameras, and near--infrared phometry observations with INGRID at the WHT in La Palma (Spain).

          Optical spectroscopical observations with the NTT at La Silla - Chile.
          Instrumet: EMMI in single slit and multi-objects mode spectroscopy.

          Optical spectrosopical observations with the 3.6m ESO telescope at La Silla - Chile.
          Instrument: EFOSC2 single slit spectroscopy.

          Optical and Near-Infrared imaging observations at the 1m ESO telescope at La Silla Chile.
          Instrument: DENIS

          Single dish radio observations with the 32m parabolic VLBI Antenna at Medicina (Bologna - Italy).
          Radio Spectroscopy with autocorrelation spectrometers.

      Technical skills

          Working knowledge of UNIX, VAX/VMS, LINUX.
          Working knowledge of FORTRAN, IDL, Supermongo.
