----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi all, Just a quick summary of what we decided today: 1) We basically all agree on the main aims of the paper at this point. They should be: i) Present the new FORS calibration scheme as the highly sophisticated, integrated, and efficient, automatic, multipurpose calibration method, master reduction tool, and secondary standard star catalogue machine which we believe it is :) ii) Present the first set of new data for Stetson standards (in particular the U-band data). 2) We were all more or less in agreement about the content of the paper draft to Sect 3.2. 3) The bits about the TSI, Illum Correction frames, PTPEMs etc need to be clarified. Wolfram Action: Provide a section on the large scale filtering algorithm and provide the filtering scale. 4) Sanity checks should be carried out to see if the iterative procedure in Sect 3.4 would produce anything else than a corrective F(x,y) = 1.000 frame. 5) The results should be illustrated with Figures showing the TEMs and example TSIs in all bands. 6) Aim for publication in PASP 7) Wolfram to call meeting next week to discuss the issue of Photometry and choice of parameters in more detail. Thats all folks, :-Pm ........................................................................
