The <<Device>> class Encoder is based on the device driver ikon.

The public methods are:

• readEncoder(): return the actual encoder value.

The protected methods are:

• configEncoder(): configure the encoder according to its settings.

The encoders are configured during the Initialization of the device according to the database attributes.

The public attributes are:

• type: type of encoder.
