Use Case:  Set instrument data

Description:  Sets configuration parameters for an instrument Detector LCU. Setting of instrument specific parameters (like vignetting areas, focus offsets, reference pixels, ...) which are needed in various ATCS functions, such as autoguiding. We can have configurations not corresponding to any "real" instrument: in particular we will have one or more entries corresponding to "no instrument installed" or to the guide cameras. From the point of view of ATCS these configurations are just described as a normal instrument.
Moreover, different for the same instrument can be set and then selected with Select instrument

• Send command to set configuration for specified instrument

• ATCS updates configuration of specified instrument
• ATCS configures all sub-systems with new configuration if active configuration has changed
• ATCS return OK reply

Exception Course:specified instrument does not exist

• ATCS adds new entry in configuration table with specified configuration

  Postcondition: new entry with given configuration generated
  

Postconditions:

• New configuration is available in configuration table
