The IRDIS detector read out noise is specified to be lower than 15e-. Given
the gain (see user manual) of
1.75 e-/ADU, this results
in 8.75 ADU.
Please note the temperature dependence documented in the FULL plots.
Evaluation:
For IRDIS DIT=2 and DIT=30, ron is below the specification.
As the KPI plot reference value we choose the long-term average
for data processed with the sphere pipeline recipe (after 2017):
4.62 ADU (DIT=2) and 3.06 ADU (DIT=30)
