Expected Object counts

Here we report one for each of the interested bands, the total number of obj and sky counts and, for the U band, the signal to noise ratio predicted by the zero order formula and the correspondent values determined by the ETC.

These are obtained for a point source object of magnitude 17, being the intensity distribution a continuum, with the sky brightness appropriate for 0 days from new moon, airmass 1, seeing 0.8 arcseconds, slit width 0.5 arceconds, no filter inserted, read out mode fast, gain low and CCD binning 1x1, with integration time of 3600 seconds. Using for the telescope surface a value of S=50.26 m2 and the efficiency, spectral bin size and $\Omega$ as reported by the ETC we get:
