Shooting for the Moon fulldome time-lapse
The CANARY laser star guide on the William Herschel Telescope appears to be shooting for the Moon in this fulldome timelapse from the Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos, La Palma.
CANARY creates an artificial star in the atmosphere, correcting for the atmospheric distortion of light.
