ESO 3.6-metre telescope
Pictured here is ESO 3.6-metre telescope located at La Silla Observatory in the Chilean Atacama Desert. This telescope began operations in 1977 and today hosts the High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet Searcher, or HARPS, the world's foremost exoplanet hunter.
