Uudesti rakennettu planeettojen etsimiseen tarkoitettu instrumentti on asennettu VLT-kaukoputkeen Chilessä. Se aloittaa 100 tuntia kestävät havainnot lähitähtien Alpha Kentauri A ja B tutkimiseksi tavoitteenaan elinkelpoisen planeetan suora kuvantaminen ensimmäistä kertaa.
