VLT observatory on Cerro Paranal
This aerial photo, obtained on December 8, 1996, shows the construction progress at the site of the VLT Observatory on Cerro Paranal. The image shows a close up of the telescope platform. Seen in front is the structure for the telescope control building. The low, white building is the Inteferometric Complex.
