Diversity and Inclusion event, Garching

Professor Tomas Brage from Lund University, Sweden is giving a talk about gender equality in physics to ESO staff in Garching. In addition to his research in Laboratory Astrophysics and Computational Atomic Physics, Professor Brage has been actively involved in improving physics education over the last 15 years, and regularly gives talks on "gender and physics" around Europe. This event, held on December 3rd 2018, was the second in a series of diversity- and inclusion-related talks organised by the Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
