13 antennas at the ALMA AOS
Thirteen 12-metre antennas are positioned at the ALMA Array Operations Site (AOS), in May 2011. The AOS is located at 5000 metres altitude on the Chajnantor plateau. In the background is the 5600-metre-high Cerro Chajnantor.
