VLT and the Milky Way
The Milky Way shines in its full splendor above the Very Large Telescope (VLT) which sits atop Cerro Paranal in Chile. Set back in the image are the VLT's Auxiliary Telescopes and on the left looms one of its large Unit Telescopes.
