ALMA's 9th antenna arrives at Chajnantor

The ALMA transporter moves the 9th antenna to the Array Operations Site (AOS), located at an altitude of 5000 metres on the Chajnantor plateau. This operation took place on 12 December 2010. The picture was taken from the 5300-metre-high Cerro Chico looking towards the south.
