EURO-VO conference June 2005
The European Virtual Observatory (EURO-VO) project met at ESO in June 2005. The international Virtual Observatory initiative aims to allow global electronic access to large astronomical data archives, such as that of ESO and the Hubble Space Telescope, while promoting the standardisation of data archival.
