La Silla Observatory
This image was obtained in June, 1968 near the water tanks of the La Silla Observatory. From foreground to background we see the provisional residential area, the Schmidt Telescope building, and from left to right, buildings of the GPO, the 1-m and 1.5-m telescopes.
