VLT 2nd Generation Instrumentation meeting

A meeting of scientists in August 2002 to discuss the design and construction of second generation instruments for ESO's Very Large Telescope (VLT) at Paranal. The first of the planned instruments, a highly efficient spectrograph called X-shooter, was installed in 2009.
