Front of the Paranal Residencia

Detail of the front of the Paranal Residencia. The windows of the 108 rooms look west, toward the Pacific Ocean. This award-winning construction was designed by German architects Auer+Weber as a subterranean L-shape; the use of natural materials and colours allows for a smooth integration in the Atacama’s landscape.
