Confirmed exoplanets discovered

Exoplanet and brown dwarf companions discovered to date as a function of their mass. They are flagged according to the observing technique used to detect them: yellow for transit, red for radial velocity (minimum mass), black for micro-lensing and pink for direct imaging. The planets of our Solar System are shown with grey pentagons.
