Comet Hale-Bopp Images by Peter Stättmayer (March 10, 1997)

The following series of images was obtained by Peter Stättmayer (Director of the Munich Public Observatory) from his private observatory at Herrsching am Ammersee, located near the Ammer Lake, some 25 kilometres southwest of Munich.

Comet Hale-Bopp on 10.3.1997 at about 5:30 MET; Schmidt-Cassegrain 400/4000 mm; 30 seconds on Kodak Pro Gold 400 emulsion. Near-nucleus structure with shells.
