ALMA band 1 receiver components
This image shows all of the components that make up the band 1 receivers on the Atacama Large Millimetre/submillimetre Array (ALMA), including the cold cartridge, warm cartridge, and lens. The band 1 receivers pick up radio waves between 6 and 8.5 mm in length, the longest wavelength that ALMA is able to measure.
