Blue Stragglers Stars as probe-particles of cluster internal dynamics. An observational prospective Francesco Ferraro (Bologna University, Italy) This contribution reviews the main observational properties of Blue Straggler Stars (BSS) in Galactic globular clusters (GCs). In particular I will discuss the challenges linked with observing these relatively faint stars in over-crowded stellar regions as the GC cores, and I'll show that high-resolution UV photometry is the best way to address this issue. Based on the results obtained in the last 20 years by following the "UV route", I will also show the deep connection that is emerging between the BSS properties and the parent cluster dynamical evolution.
