Oral title: Massive collisions in the debris disk around HD61005 Oral abstract: We obtained high angular resolution observations of the 40 Myr old debris disk around HD61005, with ALMA and VLT/SPHERE. We performed detailed modeling of the dust distribution and find the disk to be moderately eccentric, with azimuthal variations. We concluded that we may be witnessing the aftermath of a massive collision of planetesimals, which could be the onset planetary formation.
